Grants

A grant is a commitment by the foundation to make payments to an organization or an individual over a set period of time to further the work of one of our initiatives.

The foundation gives the grantee autonomy over management of the funds, but all grantees must sign a letter agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions of the grant. Grants administrators ensure that the grant-making process-from preparation of the grant recommendation to processing final reports-conforms to the foundation's procedures and standards.

Grantseekers

We are working on how we will be working with our Grantseekers. In 2013, we will be implementing our process and the tools for making grants and contracts.

Grantees

Our grantees and partners are at the core of our mission and work. We are most effective when we are working together with partners to achieve the shared impact we all desire.

Achieving results depends on many factors, including the quality of our partnerships. We can achieve greater impact by forging stronger relationships with our most important partners-our grantees.
Apply for a Grant

Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant to fund projects that will engage students and enhance learning in your school, ultimately adding life experiences and enriching the Alta Public Schools.

Grant monies awarded will be contingent on funds available for distribution and the discretion of the Grants Committee and Board of Directors.

The grant information packet and application are available for download at the bottom of this page. All grant applications must be e-mailed to the Alta Public Schools Foundation grants committee. We encourage you to apply. The key to the Foundation's success will be to identify projects and then to focus on funding those projects. As a young organization we are still building our resources. But we will work hard to raise the funds for projects that are worthy of implementation.
